Aragon Cattery Pty Ltd is a licensed practice through Hornsby council in NSW and a registered Australian business with ABN-27 664 343 220.

Visitors and their guests, or employees, enter and use Aragon Cattery premises entirely at their own risk. Neither the Owners nor their Representatives or Agents are liable for loss or damage to any guest, visitor, employee or any person’s property, nor for injury or death of any guest, visitor, employee or any person, whether such loss or damage to property or injury or death is as a result of the negligence of the Owners, their Representatives or Agents, or not.

Aragon Cattery reserves the right to refuse entry of any person or admitting any animal without reason or justification.

All cats are to be fully immunised and proof of vaccination must be shown upon admission. Any cat diagnosed with a contagious illness, or presents symptoms prior or on the day of arrival, will be refused entry to the cattery. It is the owner’s obligation to disclose information relating to any illnesses at the time of booking, or prior to boarding their cat. Any damages incurred as a result of the owner failing to disclose this information, associated costs will be born by the owner, including any and all compensation sought by the owners of other cats. Medical records may be used from the cat’s veterinarian as evidence. Any payments made towards the booking will also be forfeited.

The cat owner/guardian agrees to pay the rate for boarding in effect on the day the animal is checked into Aragon Cattery (as advised in the price list on this website), unless otherwise agreed/stipulated by Aragon Cattery. Any quotes provided are only valid for a maximum of 14 days from submission unless the deposit payment has been received for the confirmed booking dates.

Aragon Cattery reserves the right to change the price list at any time, without notice or warning. Once full payment is received and the booking confirmed, Aragon Cattery will honour the price, regardless of price list changes.

Credit policy for cancellations or changes received for Peak & Non-peak periods;

• A 25% non-refundable, nor transferable (minimum $100) deposit is required to secure the booking.
• Outstanding balance due in full 30 days prior to check-in (non-refundable on Peak bookings*).
• Bookings may be cancelled if full payment is not received.
• Within 2 months of the booking commencing, the owner agrees to pay the full designated suite lodging fee for at least the number of days requested. This is irrespective if the booking is shortened, or you collect your cat(s) earlier, or Aragon Cattery can reallocate the suite.
• If full payment is made and the booking cancelled with more than 30 days’ notice, 75% will be refunded in the form of a credit.
• If your entire booking is within a Non-Peak period, bookings may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to check-in and your payment (less deposit) will be refunded in the form of a credit. Less than 72 hours prior to check-in; no refund will be available. If the booking overlaps any part of a peak period, then the ‘Peak period’ credit rule* applies to the entire booking.
• Credits are not redeemable as a cash refund, these are only available to be used against future bookings.
• All credits must be used within 24 months from when the booking is cancelled and the credit applied.
• The booking fee is non-refundable as Stripe (online payment gateway) retain the full amount.
• Peak periods* are based on NSW state and private school holidays, generally commencing from the day school breaks up until the day school returns. For 2024*, dates will be: 1/1 – 31/1, 28/3 – 2/4, 12/4 – 29/4, 28/6 – 22/7, 27/9 – 14/10 & 16/12 – 31/1.

Whilst everything is done to ensure both the comfort and safety of your cat, and, whilst every care will be exercised by those in charge, Aragon Cattery is not responsible in any way for any loss, accident, sickness or death which may occur or happen through any circumstance. The owner releases Aragon Cattery and it’s employees or agents from all liability for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal in the care of, or staying at Aragon Cattery.

Unless confirmed in writing prior, the cost quoted for boarding will exclude any additional services, other than the accommodation stated and feeding as per the cattery’s schedule. This exclusion includes, but is not limited to, grooming of any kind and medical/veterinary treatments.

Should you have concerns regarding the welfare of your cat after their stay, you should notify Aragon Cattery at time of collection or within 24 hours. Under no circumstances will Aragon Cattery be liable for any costs incurred whatsoever, should the cat be admitted or taken to veterinary facilities, whether the owner feels Aragon Cattery is at fault or not.

During your cat’s stay, in the event of your cat requiring veterinary attention and you are not contactable, Aragon Cattery shall use their discretion in obtaining same and the owner shall be liable for the costs of such attention. In the event of illness or accident and the owner cannot be contacted, the veterinary surgeon’s decision relating to the treatment of the animal will be final. All charges incurred must be paid prior to your cat leaving Aragon Cattery, or within 30 days should that not be applicable.

In the event that your cat is left beyond the stipulated period and fees/charges have not been paid, Aragon Cattery reserves the right after 14 days to remove or dispose of your cat and you shall have no claim whatsoever. All monies owing, including fees and costs relating to the boarding/removal/disposal, are payable by the owner immediately upon receipt of invoice from Aragon Cattery.

Should the customer default in the payment of monies due under this agreement, then all monies due to Aragon Cattery shall immediately become due and payable and shall be paid by the customer within seven (7) days of the date of demand and Aragon Cattery shall be entitled to charge interest at the rate of 15% per annum on all overdue accounts from the due date until the date full payment is received, plus any applicable fees relating to collection of such.

Any material captured, including photos, whilst in the care of Aragon Cattery shall remain the property of Aragon Cattery and shall be used at their discretion. If the owner wishes for photos not to be taken, then this should be communicated in writing prior to the boarding commencing.

By boarding your cat at Aragon Cattery, you warrant the accuracy of all information given about the animal and agree to accept the above terms and conditions of boarding. You acknowledge that by boarding your cat at Aragon Cattery, this shall constitute a lien over the animal in favour of Aragon Cattery, which lien shall continue to exist whilst monies are owing pursuant to the above terms and conditions.
